8 Days – Cartagena to Santa Marta

Day 1 – Cartagena

• Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting. Alex, Gill, Stuart and Zoe will meet up with Mum and Jon for this final part of the Adventure.

Day 2 – Cartagena

• Cartagena City Tour – Enjoy a city tour, visiting the colonial walled city and fortress.
• Free Time – Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring this vibrant town.

Day 3 – Cartagena to Minca

• Travel to the small town of Minca, breath in the fresh mountain air and enjoy free time to explore.

Day 4 – Minca to Taganga

• Journey into the hills around Minco and hike to a beautiful waterfall. Take a tour of a Coffee farm, learn about Chocolate preparation and indulge in a local lunch before continuing on to Taganga.

Day 5 – Taganga

• Spend the day soaking up the Caribbean feel of this coastal village.

Day 6 – Taganga to Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona

• Hiking – Lace up your hiking boots and get to the next stop under your own power.
• Tayrona National Park – Learn more about the rich diversity of Tayrona’s natural heritage and explore the gorgeous scenery with a local guide.

Day 7 – Parque Nacional Natural Tayrona to Santa Marta

• Free time – Enjoy free time to explore the beautiful landscape of Santa Marta and visiting any must-see sights you missed.

Day 8 – Santa Marta

• End of the tour – Time to travel home and meet your new Grandson.
