Miffed by Midwife

Had my 25 week checkup with the midwife this week. It wasn’t my normal midwife as she was on holiday. She wasn’t very nice, she just did all her checks and wanted me gone. I have no idea what all the tests were or what the outcome of them was. I assume it was nothing bad or she would have told me (I hope). On the plus side I got to hear baby’s heartbeat and its very strong. It’s all starting to get real now, baby is kicking more and more and I have to arrange Antenatal appointments shortly.

This weekend Me and Nick has been busy emptying the Nursery and getting it ready for painting. We hope to get it painted next weekend and then we will be ready to get new carpet. Then I can start shopping for the baby stuff :-).

I went to Toys R Us this week and played with the pushchairs, I think I broke one oops! Nick was stuck at work so he didn’t get to be part of it but there was a lot of pushchairs there and not enough room to play with them to see if I liked any. Think I am still going to end up with the MotherCare Journey that we had a look at in Birmingham. We are looking at getting a side sleeper instead of a moses basket, Candy’s butt will wiggle it onto the floor.

Candy is still on Metacam but she is doing better and not limping as much any more. We are keeping her on the lead for walks so she is not a happy bunny. Mollie is being more and more caring towards me as the time goes by.
