Mothercare

After work we went to an expectant parent evening at Mothercare, I was told there was going to be safety talks on sleeping, cots mattresses and blankets and another two that covered pushchairs and car seats. There would be maternity bra fitting and car seat fitting and advice so I signed me and Nick up for it and was really excited to go. We got there and were handed a goodie bag and the timetable for the talks. There were a few stalls there selling their services like hypno birthing, baby swimming and photo sessions, we just wandered passed and had a look at the pushchairs again while waiting for the first talk to begin.

It was a shambles the poor girl looked like she had only just been given a sheet of paper and told to read it. Most of the information was about baby sleeping bags and when to use what tog. There was no way any of us was going to listen to the other two talks so figured I would do the bra fitting and then be on our way as we had the 10% off voucher by this point 🙃

I was the only one in the queue for bra fitting and the lady even after being called on the tannoy didn’t show after 10 mins so we gave up and went home. Very disappointed as I didn’t learn any safety or get fitted.

We ended the night on a high 😁 with the 10% off we were able to buy the pushchair, side sleeper, mattress protector, 6 mattress sheets and 2 maternity bras! Can’t wait to get them later this week 😃
