On the North Island

This time we where chased by a cyclone, some of the beautiful places we visited on the South Island have been flooded and washed away. Here on the north island, we have had heavy rain and gales. Listening to the local news, it’s sad to hear..

The sun trying to come out, and the rains not to bad. Last night we headed up the mountains on a gravel track and camped above a river. A bit hair raising going back down this morning on the gravel after the rains.

We’re leaving WiFi. Hopefully, I’ll reconnect ASAP.
